This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Home Assist 365 Ltd to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our business or supply chains.

It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

Home Assist 365 Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

Employment Practices

Direct Employment: • All employees are employed in accordance with UK employment law • Right to work checks carried out for all employees • All employees receive written terms and conditions • All employees paid at least the National Minimum Wage (or National Living Wage where applicable) • All employees are free to terminate their employment with appropriate notice • No employees are charged recruitment fees • No withholding of identity documents • Working hours comply with Working Time Regulations 1998 • All employees have access to grievance procedures

Recruitment: • We only use reputable UK-based recruitment agencies • We verify that recruitment agencies comply with modern slavery legislation • We do not use gangmasters or labor providers • All recruitment is transparent with clear job descriptions and terms

Contractor and Subcontractor Practices

Where we engage contractors or subcontractors: • We verify Gas Safe registration • We verify right to work in the UK • We ensure fair payment terms • We do not engage workers on exploitative terms • We require compliance with UK employment law

Due Diligence Processes
